Brewing Instructions

Equipment: Kettle, French Press, Spoon, and Mug

Step 1

Preheat french press using hot water.

Step 3

Bring 850g (a little under 4 cups) of water to a boil.

Step 4

Allow water to rest uncovered for ~1 minute (for a final brewing temperature of 207°).

Step 5

While water is cooling: Scoop 12 tablespoons of coffee into the french press, set timer for four minutes.

Step 6

As soon as water is ready: decant water and start timer.

Step 7

Give your slurry two quick and vigorous stirs with spoon.

Step 8

Put the top of the press into place, depress slightly, and then release again.

Step 9

When timer goes off: slowly but firmly depress plunger all the way to the bottom.

Step 10

Pour coffee into your mug.
