At the edge of a peaceful forest of evergreens, our Klickatat Cabin pays tribute to the storied past of commerce in the Columbia River Gorge. From competing train lines to tugboats and barges, the region has been a place of passage for nearly 200 years. These early forms of transport forged the way for the settlements out west and are still in use today.

The most expansive and feminine of the cabins, Georgia & Beck’s Hideaway is a sapphic retreat, all flowers & bones. The interior is inspired by our favorite American Modernists, Georgia O’Keeffe & Rebecca Strand. Now recognized as exceptional artists in their own right, in the 1920s, their summers together were an act of defiance to their photographer husbands, and their love affair was a form of liberation.
